Despite its jovial sounding title, _Don't Fuck with Cats_ is a three part Netflix documentary series about a very serious subject matter. What exactly is this about? Here's the official description:
_A shocking online video brings together a widespread internet group of animal lovers out for justice. Their target, meanwhile, has more horrors planned._
So, in a nutshell, a guy posts a video online of himself killing a couple of kittens and a group of people get together online to try and track the guy down and as they go further down the rabbit hole, things just get wilder and wilder and darker and darker. The various members of the group explain to the camera the steps they took to work out who this guy was and where he committed these acts. These interviews cut to on screen graphics, news footage, and documents to supplement what is being explained. It's quite a ride and just when you think you've got it all worked out, they rip the rug right out from underneath you.
A word of warning for this one, it shows some quite distressing visuals of some cruelty to animals and is not for the faint hearted. They don't show anything directly, but enough is shown to leave you with no uncertainty about what is about to happen before they cut away. It's only a couple of times but if that makes you squeamish, be ready with the skip button.
If you can get past that, there's a really interesting documentary here to dive into. If you like a good twisting turning true life story that will make your skin crawl in parts, this is definitely worth a spot on your watchlist.
