An out of touch father reveals a fatal diagnosis to try and strongarm his son into getting his life together. His son obliges, but soon discovers that his fear of work is far more deep-rooted than he initially assumed. As it becomes clear that both sides haven’t been telling the whole truth, they have an opportunity to understand each other a little better than before.
